PERFORMANCE AT FOODIE FRIDAY GOES DOWN A STORM! #BEMOREMARTYN
£500 RAISED FOR MARPLE DEMENTIA DROP IN

Members of Take Note were joined by the children of All Saints, Rose Hill, and High Lane Primary Schools to put on a sell-out show-stopping concert to raise funds for the Marple Dementia Drop In.

The concert was held at All Saints Church, Marple, and was packed to the brim with keen audience members.  The choirs sang extremely well, joining together for carols, as well as performing their own solo pieces.

The organ was played by Nathan Monk, and the very talented John Hulme and Jim Collins played the trumpet and clarinet respectively, bringing some variety to the concert.

All Saints Church were wonderful hosts, always going the extra mile to help us out.

See you at the next one!

A special thank you to all who have taken part in our Marple Social DistanSING project!  Have a listen and watch the final product here!  If you enjoy it, please donate to ST ANN'S HOSPICE! Thank you.

MUSICAL CHRISTMAS JOY AROUND MARPLE TO FUNDRAISE FOR THE RLNI

Forty Members of Take Note visited the Dale Care Home, Marple to sing for the residents during the lead up to Christmas.  The lounge there was absolutely packed as Take Note performed almost face to face with the audience!  The singing was much appreciated and members of the choir were only too happy to sing at this event.

The choir also visited the many bars of Marple, starting at the Navigation pub and ending two and a half hours later at the Ring O Bells.  Singing at Beer Traders was a highlight as the choir filled all the spaces between where people were sat.  The place was full but the sound was fantastic.  The twinkle lights over head really added to the singing!

£175 was raised for the RNLI.  Not bad for a rainy Tuesday evening.
